Today I just wanted to give you a quick update on what’s been going on in the South Jersey real estate market lately. Right now, the market is on fire! Buyers and sellers are out in the market, and they are putting deals together.
This is one of the busiest times of the year for our market. We sell more homes in March than any other month, and we sell more homes in the last week of March than any other week of the year. We’re not exactly sure why that is, but it has been the trend in our market for quite some time.
There’s a small window of opportunity right now for home sellers, but it’s closing. If you’ve been thinking about listing your home on the market, now is the time.

We have already sold over 20 homes this month and as of yesterday, we had 13 of our listings under contract, 4 of them with multiple offers. When we get multiple offers, we create bidding wars, which helps us sell homes above list price. The demand is there if you’ve been thinking of selling, but you’ve got to be priced right to show value.
For buyers, inventory is starting to sell off so you’ve got to make a move soon, especially while interest rates are as low as they are.
